Conor retired early from a Civil Service career in 2018 and found his true vocation, Tour Guiding.

Originally providing tours of his local area Howth, he then expanded his range in 2019 providing private walking tours of Dublin City for small groups.Conor’s light-hearted walking tour of Dublin takes approximately 3 hours covering about 10 kilometres at a gentle pace with plenty of stops. The tour takes in the two main shopping areas of the city and will introduce you to some of our more famous statues and monuments including Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, Daniel O’Connell, James Larkin, Phil Lynott and of course Molly Malone. You will visit Merrion Square, one of Dublin’s famous Georgian squares, as well as St Stephen’s Green, Dublin Castle and Trinity College, home of the famous Book of Kells. You will hear about Dublin life over the centuries from the founding of the city by the Vikings to invasions and rebellions, fighting for our freedom.

Conor also provides walking tours of Howth in Co Dublin close to where he lives. Howth is a beautiful and thriving fishing village steeped in history and full of natural beauty. You will visit Howth Castle occupied by the same family for over 800 years and also visit Aideen’s Grave an ancient dolmen over 4000 years old. You will explore nature through the beautiful rhododendron gardens and into the woods with spectacular views over Dublin Bay and our neighbouring islands. Return to the village via the famous cliff walk and stop to enjoy a pint of Guinness in one of our local pubs or a bowl of fish chowder in one of the many fish restaurants along the pier. A day in Howth is a day never to be forgotten.
